The Official Languages Act was passed / past in 1969. Forty-six / Fourty-six years later, linguistic duality thrives in Canadian schools, homes and workplaces. Weather / Whether you speak English or French or are one of the five million Canadians, who / Canadians who speak both official languages, your / you’re part of the country’s / countries linguistic duality and vitality!
French and English, with their proud history and their prominence throughout the world, is / are today an integral part of our Canadian identity.
As Canadians, we cherish this rich heritage, / heritage; we will continue to build the future of linguistic duality in Canada and celebrate this great Canadian strength.
This contest is for Canadian residents only, aged 18 and over.
The winner will be drawn from among the entries received by March 23, 2016, in our Ottawa office. The draw will take place before March 31, 2016. The winner's name will be posted in the Contest section on RVF.ca.
