French laughs all across Canada!
Thanks to the Rendez-vous de la Francophonie Standup Tour, thousands of Francophones have the chance to laugh out loud in a theater close to their home. Well-known and up-and-coming comedians travel all over the country to contribute to the Francophone joie de vivre.
A lasting partnership between Just For Laughs and the Rendez-vous de la Francophonie (RVF) allows many Francophones and Francophiles living in minority situations to have a close look at many of their favorite comedians. In fact, the Standup Tour is going to make 20 stops in 8 provinces and 2 territories this year.
Franco-Ontarians attending the RVF national launch in Ottawa on February 28th will have the opportunity to see a bunch of good comedians like Jeremy Demay, Neev and Sinem Kara.
On March 2nd, there will be a humour show in Iqaluit, Nunavut! Mike Ward, Eddy King (co-spokesperson for the Rendez-vous de la Francophonie 2018) and Julien Dionne will share the Franco-Center scene.
Following week: Francophones and Francophiles from Western Canada will laugh with comedians like Julien Tremblay, Silvi Tourigny and Cathy Gauthier in Alberta, British Columbia and Yukon.
Then, from March 10th to 17th, comedians of the tour will be in Canadian Prairies to present six shows will in Manitoba and one show in Saskatchewan. All these shows will be animated by Jérémie Larouche.
People of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and Labrador already enjoyed the tour earlier in February.
Don’t miss your chance to watch high quality humor shows presented in French while celebrating our Canadian Francophonie!
