Deadline
The microgrant application form must be submitted on the rvf.ca website before December 9, 2022. The Rendez-vous de la Francophonie team will contact the selected organizations by December 23, 2022.
New microgrant program
Are you a nonprofit organization based in Canada? Are you interested in receiving a microgrant for an activity that’s part of the 2023 Rendez-vous de la Francophonie (RVF)? Tell us about your project for a chance to receive between $250 and $2,000!
Objective:
To help community organizations reach new audiences and ensure Canada-wide visibility of the 2023 RVF
Value:
$250 to $2,000, depending on the scope of the activity and the criteria met
Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for a microgrant, the applicant organization must:
- Be a nonprofit organization that offers French or bilingual activities
- Have a head office in Canada
- Propose an activity that will take place between March 1 and March 31, 2023
- Promote the Canadian Francophonie
- Complete the microgrant application form on the rvf.ca website
Selection criteria
Applicants will be selected according to the following criteria:
- Originality of the activity
- Desired outcome
- Target audience
- Level of visibility (local, regional, provincial, etc.)
- New element added to an existing activity (if applicable)
Obligations of grant recipients
Grant recipients are required to:
- Ensure the visibility of the RVF and the Government of Canada or Government of Quebec, in communication products and during the activity (logos on posters and visuals, acknowledgements, etc.)
- Submit a short report that includes the number of participants, the impact of the activity and at least one photograph
