Tout pour la musique<\/span><\/a> is a celebration of some of Canada\u2019s best musical artists held each year on June 24th. This year the event happens at Studio Bell in Calgary and can be viewed all over the country on UNIS TV.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In my last blog post, I talked about a few of the artists that will be performing at this year\u2019s event. Here are a few more:<\/span><\/p>\n

Wilfred LeBouthillier<\/span><\/a> is an Acadian singer-songwriter who grew up in Tracadie-Sheila, New Brunswick. He has received many awards and distinctions, including the champion of the first season of Star Acad\u00e9mie, a JUNO for Francophone Album of the Year in 2004, 4 Prix des \u00c9toiles, and SOCAN\u2019s 2007 Prix de la chanson populaire. His most recent album is <\/span>Wilfred<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Born in La Tuque, Quebec, and living in Whitehorse, Yukon, folk singer-songwriter <\/span>Sophie Villeneuve<\/span><\/a> mixes storytelling and music. She has represented Yukon at the prestigious Festival International de la Chanson de Granby. Her latest album is <\/span>Le Chant du Hibou<\/span><\/i><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Winnipeg-based emcee, graphic designer, producer, and creative director <\/span>Alpha Toshineza<\/span><\/a> started his musical career in the mid-90s with various rap groups in Luxembourg and Belgium. Have a listen to his music <\/span>here<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Folk-rock singer-songwriter <\/span>Matiu<\/span><\/a> grew up in a Mani-Utenam Innu community in Quebec\u2019s Cote-Nord region. His most recent album is <\/span>Petikat<\/span><\/a>. Matiu tours regularly with Florent Vollant’s <\/span>Nikamu Mamuitun<\/span><\/a> collective.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
