His paintings are colourful and dynamic, his visual vocabularies are unique, and he focuses on themes like social relationships, connection, and disconnection in our communities. I really like what he\u2019s doing.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Brown-Kossi was born in France to Ivorian parents. He moved to Vancouver in 2017 and has exhibited his work at the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.seymourartgallery.com\/2022\/01\/15\/new-emerging-2022\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Seymour Art Gallery<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/pomoarts.ca\/exhibitions\/are-we-still-together-ghislain-brown-kossi\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Port Moody Arts Centre<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kostuikgallery.com\/ghislain-brown-kossi\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Kostuik Gallery<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, and Coquitlam\u2019s <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/evergreenculturalcentre.ca\/place-a-nomadic-gallery-in-british-columbia\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Evergreen Cultural Centre<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.
