{"id":21086,"date":"2024-01-29T11:40:08","date_gmt":"2024-01-29T16:40:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rvf.ca\/?post_type=nouvelles&#038;p=21086"},"modified":"2024-01-29T11:40:08","modified_gmt":"2024-01-29T16:40:08","slug":"canadians-in-the-spotlight-this-year-at-angouleme-france","status":"publish","type":"nouvelles","link":"https:\/\/rvf.ca\/en\/news\/canadians-in-the-spotlight-this-year-at-angouleme-france\/","title":{"rendered":"Canadians in the spotlight this year at Angoul\u00eame, France"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Nearly 60 Canadian authors, more than half from Qu\u00e9bec, will participate in panels, book signings, workshops, and live drawing events at one of the world&#8217;s most significant literary festivals from January 24th to January 28th.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Every year, the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bdangouleme.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Angoul\u00eame International Comics Festival<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> brings together more than 200,000 comic and graphic novel artists, writers, publishers, professionals, and enthusiasts from all over. There are many French comics festivals, but Angoul\u00eame is by far the most important in France in terms of reputation and attendance.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Canada\u2019s comic and graphic novel industry plays a major role in this year&#8217;s festival.
