It\u2019s the Festival du Voyageur!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It\u2019s time for Western Canada\u2019s largest winter festival, the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/heho.ca\/en\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Festival du Voyageur<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong><span style=\"color: #008080\">The fest, which takes place in St-Boniface, Manitoba from February 18th to 27th, celebrates Manitoba\u2019s French heritage and culture<\/span><\/strong> through entertainment, arts and crafts, music, exhibits, and displays.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The first Festival du Voyageur was a four-day celebration that happened in 1970. The festival has grown into a 10-day festival bringing together more than 90,000 people and packing an economic punch of almost $13 million.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008080\"><strong>2022\u2019s Festival du Voyageur will be a hybrid, with both in-person and virtual entertainment.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On-site (outdoor) activities include sleigh rides, snowshoeing, children\u2019s activities, maple taffy-making, and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/heho.ca\/en\/snow-sculptures\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">snow sculpting<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.
