Are you part of an outstanding team? We want to hear all about it!
The all-new Équipe-toi! contest celebrates collective strength and Francophone pride across Canada. Whether your team is involved in sports or arts, is community-based or professional, we’re looking forward to learning how you promote the Francophonie in your community.
Create a short video that showcases your team and how its members promote the French language on an everyday basis. Deadline: February 8, 2026. And on March 1, 2026, the RVF will reveal the top picks right here on the RVF.ca website. From March 1 to 31, 2026, the public will vote for the winning video in each category. We’ll tell you about the prizes shortly.

Participation with a teacher’s guidance is open to students aged 5 and up.

Presentation of the workshop-conference Parti pour de bon by spokesperson Mehdi Cayenne (in person or virtually) at the winning group’s school + A large box of French-language books worth over $350

How to participate
Step 1
Create a video
Create a video no more than two minutes long, specifically for the contest.
- Introduce the members of your team (provide their name, city and role).
- Describe what you do, and explain how you promote the Francophonie.
- Show your enthusiasm and pride: Be as original as possible!
Step 2
Fill in the form
Fill in the form below and answer all the questions.
- Name a contact person who will submit the form.
- For the “school” category, the teacher should fill in the form for the students.
Step 3
Attach your video
Attach your video to the form (YouTube link, WeTransfer or Drive) and submit it before February 8, 2026.
Step 4
Stay tuned!
We’ll announce the finalists on this web page on March 1, 2026. Who knows? Your team might just be one of them!
Criteria
- Originality and accuracy of the presentation
- Promotion of the Francophonie and the team’s work
- Vibrancy and cohesiveness of the team
- Audiovisual quality of the video
- Compliance with the maximum time allotted (2 minutes)
Other details
- Before submitting your video, make sure that you can be clearly seen and heard. Run a few tests before submitting your video.
- Use props, uniforms or background images to represent your team.
- Submit only one video per team.
