Can you Write it Right?
Write it Right is a spelling challenge with two levels, one for elementary school students and one for the general public. If you find it too easy in your mother tongue, you can try it in Canada’s other official language. I did!
Write it Right is presented by the Language Portal of Canada (an initiative of the Translation Bureau at Public Services and Procurement Canada) and Canada Post.
The Elementary School challenge is in the form of a comic book featuring former RVF spokesperson Bernard Voyer, his godson Vincent and his godson’s friend talking about a large globe-like ball that looks suspiciously like Planet Earth.
The spelling challenge for the general public is about Indigenous storytelling and passing down traditional knowledge.
It’s a fun contest, and you may win $1,000 for playing!
