It’s time to discover what Rendez-Vous de la Francophonie 2024 has in store for its 26th year…
“Découvrir aux éclats!” (Launch into discovery!) is this year’s theme, and Dialogue Foundation has partnered with the Fédération de la jeunesse canadienne-française to shine a spotlight on the contributions of young people as “agents of change” in the French-speaking world.
This year’s spokespeople are St. Boniface-born comedian Micheline Marchildon and Franco-Ontarian Hip Hop artist Le Flo Franco (FLO), who describes his musical style as “multicoloured urban pop.” Look for profiles of Micheline and FLO in future blog posts.
2024’s Comedy Tour starts in January with shows in Halifax, NS (featuring Luc LeBlanc, Mona DeGrenoble, and Annabelle Hébert) and Moncton, NB (featuring Rachid Badouri, Sinem Kara, Mona De Grenoble, Anabelle Hébert and Mike Paterson.) Check out the RVF calendar for more dates.
RVF will unveil new programming each month — subscribe to the RVF’s newsletter and follow on social media to stay up-to-date.
